Nicole McCoy enters her first season as the top assistant for the Colonels, having served as a graduate assistant coach in 2007. McCoy came to Nicholls after spending the 2006 season as an assistant at Temple College, where she helped the Leopards to the NTJAC Conference and Region 5 Championships and an appearance at Nationals. As a player, McCoy played for two years at Hill College in Hillsboro, Texas, followed by one season at the University of Texas-Dallas in Richardson, Texas. The Belton, Texas-native graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in exercise and sport science. McCoy is single and resides in Thibodaux. |
