April 7, 2007 AUSTIN, Tex. - Sophomore javelin thrower Leslie Bourgeois did not let the snow get in her way, as the Junior All-American tossed yet another regional qualifying mark at the Texas Relays on Saturday morning.
Even though five competitors dropped out of the competition due to the cold and snowy weather, Bourgeois remained in the event, and threw for 144-04 to finish in seventh place overall.
Bourgeois and the rest of the Colonels will return to action on Saturday, when they participate in the Florida State Seminole Twilight in Tallahassee, Fla.
