As a Redshirt Sophomore (2008): Was the ace of the pitching staff by leading Nicholls with a 9-3 record in the circle... Also led the team with a 3.13 ERA and with 99 strikeouts in 21 appearances... Boasted the lowest opponent batting average on the team with a .183 mark... Named Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) Newcomer of the Year... Tossed a total of 92.0 innings... Had five complete games that included one shutout... Also compiled a .136 batting average that included two doubles and four RBIs... Started 26 games in right field and had a .919 fielding percentage... Best performance in the circle came against Stephen F. Austin (4/13/08) when she fanned 11 in Nicholls 2-1 victory... Also knocked in the game winning run on a RBI single in the same contest to defeat the Lumberjacks 2-1... She finished that game 1-for-2 with a RBI... Best performance at the plate came against Stephen F. Austin (4/12/08) when she went 2-for-4... Both doubles came in back-to-back contests against Northwestern State (04/06/08). As a Sophomore (2007): Received a redshirt due to NCAA transfer rules. At Southern Miss (2006): Pitched 212 innings for Coach Gay McNutt... Named to the Conference USA All-Freshman team. At H.L. Bourgeois: Was a four year letter winner in softball, basketball, and volleyball for the Braves all four years... Selected First Team All-State, All-District, All-Region and All-Bayou Region all four years in softball... Set a school record with 1,103 career strikeouts... Set the school record also with 20 strikeouts in a game... Had her best season in her senior campaign when she recorded 386 strikeouts and an 0.29 ERA, while finishing with a 24-7 mark... The Braves retired her softball jersey for her outstanding efforts on the field... Was named the basketball team's defensive MVP her freshman year running the point... Named to the All-District team all four years in volleyball... Picked up Defensive MVP in volleyball all four years as well... Set the school record in Aces and Digs in a career...
