FRISCO, Tex. - After leading the Lady Colonels to a ninth place finish at the Samford Intercollegiate, junior golfer Daniele Dunlop was named the Southland Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, announced the league office Wednesday afternoon.

A native of Forest, Ontario, Dunlop tied for 15th place at the two-day tournament, carding a total score of 231. Dunlop shot a 76 in each of the first two rounds, and followed with a 79 in Tuesday's final 18 holes, to complete the tournament with a stroke average of 77.
