February 12, 2007 KINDER, La. - After shooting a 663 in the first two rounds, the Nicholls Lady Colonels currently sits in ninth place at the Cowgirl Spring Invitational at the Kosati Pines Golf Course in Kinder, La.
South Alabama heads into Tuesday's final round atop the team leaderboard with a 622, followed by Lamar (628), Texas State (636), Sam Houston State (637) and tournament-host McNeese State (639) to round out the top five.
Arkansas State, Central Arkansas and Louisiana-Monroe are currently tied for sixth place after each carding a 644, while Nicholls (663), McLennan Community College (664) and Troy (666) fill out the remaining tournament field at Nos. 9-11, respectively.
Elin Andersson of South Alabama currently leads all golfers with a 148. Lamar's Therese Nilsson is in second with a 150, while Central Arkansas' Nicole Forshner closely follows in third place with a 151.
Natalie Robinson leads all Lady Colonel golfers tied for seventh place with a 156, followed by Daniele Dunlop (161) tied for the 24th spot and Theunette Van der Walt (171) tied for 44th place. Jessica Marquart is in 51st place with a 175, while Emiley Patton shot a 188 to sit in 58th place.
The tournament will conclude tomorrow with round one teeing off at 8 a.m.
