FRISCO, Texas - Senior guard Katherine Plummer earned Second Team All-Conference accolades for the 2007-08 season, the Southland Conference announced Monday morning. Plummer led the Southland Conference in scoring with 18.9 points per game this season. The Brooklyn, N.Y., native finishes her four-year career as Nicholls' second-leading all-time scorer with 1,316 points in 102 games. Adding to her achievements, Plummer led the league in steals (3.19 spg) and now holds second place in career steals as a Lady Colonel with 236. During her tenure, she dished out 269 steals, good enough for seventh on the all-time list. This season, Plummer recorded three 30+ point games, including a career-high 32 points in her final home game as a Lady Colonel. She was named Women's Basketball Coaches Association Honorable Mention Player of the Month for the month of January after scoring 20+ in five-straight games. Plummer tallied two double-doubles this season, including 21 points and 11 rebounds in her final outing Saturday night.
