THIBODAUX, La. - Nicholls Men's Tennis team was unable to pick up their first win in Southland Conference play on Sunday with their 6-1 loss to the visiting Lamar Cardinals.

"Lamar has a very well coached team," said head coach Jim Hunter. "It was good to see Maxime pick a win in singles, and Vlad and Eric did a really good job defeating Lamar's No. 1 doubles."

Freshman Maxime Bouhoulle defeated Andres Medina 6-3, 2-6, 1-0 to get the only win in singles for the Colonels.
