March 12, 2007 SPRINGFIELD, La. - The Nicholls men's golf team is currently sitting in 11th place at the Carter Plantation Intercollegiate, after shooting a 603 in the first two rounds of competition.
Tournament host Southeastern Louisiana is atop of the team standings with a 571, while Middle Tennessee State (582) sits in second place. South Alabama (584) and Jacksonville State (592) are currently in third and fourth place, respectively.
Louisiana Tech and Chattanooga are tied for fifth place with a 593, while Southern Miss (595), Ole Miss (597), Arkansas State (598) and Mississippi State (600) round out the top 10.
Nicholls (603), South Florida (605), Texas-San Antonio (606), Southeastern Louisiana "B" (610) and Louisiana-Monroe (624) fill out the remaining tournament field at Nos. 11-15.
