LAKE CHARLES, La. - In just his second collegiate tournament, freshman Parham Booker fired an 84 during the final round, for a 54-hole total of 224, which was good enough to earn him a fourth place tie at the Moe O'Brien Intercollegiate contested at Gray Plantation. Scotty Campbell of Central Arkansas (204) took home the top individual award, while Sigmundur Masson (206) and Cory Vincent (219) both from McNeese State rounded out the top three. Central Arkansas (879) won the overall team honors, while tournament host McNeese State (886), Nicholls (912) and Centenary College (945) rounded out the four-team field. Other Colonel golfer included Marty Reed (231 -10), James Terrebonne (232, T11), Ebenhaezer Van der Walt (233 -12), Jacob Lejeune (235 -T13) and Robbie Ocmond (235 -T13). The Colonels will travel to Arlington, Texas to take part in the Waterchase Invitational on Oct. 2-3 held at The Links at Waterchase in Fort Worth, Texas. |
