COLONELS REMAIN IN THIRD AFTER DAY TWO

THIBODAUX, La. - Freshman Parham Booker continued right where he left off yesterday by firing a 71 on day two of the Moe O'Brien Intercollegiate held at Gray Plantation. Booker sits alone in the third spot with a two-day total of 142.

After trailing by two shots after day, Scotty Campbell (136) of Central Arkansas closed the gap and trails by only one shot to overall leader Sigmundur Masson (135) of tournament host McNeese State.

Central Arkansas (583) picked up seven shots on day two and took the overall lead, while McNeese State (587), Nicholls (606) and Centenary College (627) round out the field.

Other Colonel golfers include Marty Reed (158 - T7), James Terrebonne (155 - T13), J Ebenhaezer Van der Walt (157 - 15th), Robbie Ocmond (158 - T16), who played as an individual and Jacob Lejeune (161 - T19).

Nicholls will complete the final round of the McNeese State Moe O'Brien at Gray Plantation on Tuesday, September 25.
