As a freshman (2005-2006): Competed in three tournaments for the Colonels ... In nine rounds, finished with 705 total strokes, for a stroke average of 78.3 ... Best finish came in his first collegiate appearance at the Bell South Intercollegiate (Feb. 20), when he finished in 15th place with a 76 in each of the first two rounds ... The tournament was shortened due to rain ... After shooting an 81 in the first two rounds, shot a low of 75 in the final round of the Samford Intercollegiate to card a 237 for the tournament.
