As a sophomore (2007) - Started and played in all, but one game for the Colonels... Recorded a total of 43 tackles on the season with 26 of them being solo... Had three sacks and eight tackles for a loss... Responsible for one forced fumble and three fumble recoveries... Best game came in one of Nicholls' most historic wins over Division I-FBS Rice when he had a game high 14 tackles to go along with a sack, two tackles for a loss and a forced and recovered fumble. As a redshirt freshman - Played in ten games... Registered 14 solo tackles and eight assisted... Recorded three tackles for a loss, two sacks, and forced two fumbles. As a true freshman (2005) - Received a redshirt. At Ascension Catholic High School - Played for Coach Kirke Delatte at Ascension Catholic where he was an All-State performer at both defensive back and wide receiver. He had Jairus also played basketball. Personal - Jairus Jarvis was born on January 18, 1987... Son of Melanie Jarvis and Michael Williams... Majoring in Sports Science. |
