SAN MARCOS, Tex. - After their loss at Texas-Arlington on Thursday night, the Colonels will continue their Texas tour with a clash at Texas State on Saturday at 4 p.m.

The Colonels (6-12, 1-2) lost 69-60 Thursday night to the Mavericks (11-4, 1-2) who gained their first win in conference play. In the loss, Bathie had a career best 27-points surpassing his old total of 25 against Lamar on Feb. 1, 2007. Also scoring in double-digits was true freshman Anatoly Bose with 16 as he extended his consecutive 10-plus scoring games to five.

The three-ball wasn't there for the Colonels in their loss to the Mavericks as they only made 10-of-35 with eight of them by Bathie. However, Nicholls did committee less turnovers in the game with 19 miscues to Texas-Arlington's 23.

The Bobcats (8-8, 1-2) lost Thursday night to the Lions 84-83 despite outscoring Southeastern La. (10-6, 2-1) in the second half 47-to-39. In the second half, Brandon Bush and Chris Agwumaro tried their best to get Texas State back in the thick of things, but their 15 and 11 points, respectively, couldn't get their team the win.

Tip-off from Strahan Coliseum will commence at 4 p.m. The game can be heard live on 105.9 FM KBZE and 690 AM KTIB locally, while listeners outside the local area can tune in on the internet at www.kbze.com. Pre-game will air at 3:45 p.m. with Brennan Matherne providing all the play-by-play action. For fans who want to follow the game live statistically can use the GameTracker link on the Colonels' official athletic website at www.geauxcolonels.com.
